I don't know about online vendors but I have been able to find it at a

number of local stores, health food stores, Nutrition stores etc... I

was able to buy it at GNC Nutrition which I think has stores throughout

Canada and the US.

Hey Sheila,

I am going to have to give a closer look at the vitamin shop and GNC

and so on.

How did you take Candizyme again?

Do you think these anti-fungals can still be " worth it " if I only take

it like every 4-7 days? Do you think it can still do a good job?

Since you don't see a lot of difference with the Digest Gold you may

be better off by trying one of the specific yeast enzymes. The

Candizyme says to take 3 capsules at bedtime. I started with 1/2 a

capsule or less) and gradually worked up to a full capsule. I didn't

need to go with more than 1 capsule at a time but I added in natural

antifungals and started taking 1 candizyme capsule a few times a

day. It is important to take it on an empty stomach because if

there's food in your stomach the enzymes will act on that instead of

the yeast.

Hi Eileen,

You should *not* take S. boulardii at the same time as Candizyme.

S. boulardii is a good yeast and Candizyme is antifungal - in other

words the enzymes in Candizyme will kill all the S. boulardii.

<<<<or do 3-4 weeks of S. B... and then go onto

> candizyme???>>>

If you don't have candizyme yet and you are doing well , noticing

improvement (with yeast issues) you could continue that longer. If

no change happens and you want to try the yeast enzymes (Candizyme

etc..) you can add them between meals when you are not taking S.

boulardii. For example, you can take S. boulardii at bedtime and

the candizyme before breakfast (wait at least 30 min) between

breakfast and lunch and/or between lunch and supper.

Do you mean a legal brand of yeast enzyme? Candex, Candidase,

Candizyme are a few good ones.

thank you Sheila - i did mean in the same day not together per se- so

thank you on guiding me on exactly how to take them - don't want to

screw up -I won't start unless I see no change -BM was finally

totally solid today even the end but I htink that may be the lack of

nut butter??? I'm less itchy but didn't have many signs aside from

that - just hoping MAYBE too much yeast could be the reason for the

nausea - been hoping for an answer for 7 months now!!! if my

bacterial overgrowth test was neg is that a sign I don't have too

much yeast or didn't when they did the test???

thanks

It may be the lack of nut butter or that you are starting to heal

up : )

If they only tested for bactreria and not yeast I don't think it will

accurately reflect what amount of yeast you may have. Course it

depends on what kind of tests you had and what kind of markers they

were lookig for.

<<<or didn't when they did the test???

How long ago was the test done? It will reflect the amount of

bacteria and type that you had at that time.
