Guest guest
, This is, of course, just my opinion, but you asked: I think you should be supportive with however your PTA feels she can be most successful in her education. Ultimately, it is her choice anyway. Maybe you could find another PTA to fill in those hours. Deckard,PT/owner TheraCare Physical Therapy Mayfield, KY {Spam?} Please offer feedback for this little dilemma. I am pretty good at problem solving with major issues that infrequently occur with my staff but this is a subtle problem that could have big consequences. I currently am down to myself and two PTA's for full time staff, and employ a PRN PT. One of my PTA's wants to begin pursuing her bachelors and I completely support this. However, she wants to take a class that will be four days per week from 8-10 am. I would normally be willing to work around this but the class is also offered one night a week outside of the work schedule. She is concerned she wouldn't stay focused during a 4 hour class once per week. I do not wish to deter her school efforts but I feel she has a commitment to fulfill with her job and should take the course that is once per week and does not interfere with her work schedule. Does anyone feel I being unreasonable? Bisesi MPT COMT Winter Haven, FL __________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
