I ate chinese on Sunday and Monday had regained 7 pounds...Mom Pudge says it is the MSG they put in the food...thankfully today I am down 5, but it scared the heck out of me, and it did set me back.

ok chinese is a no no it will make you gain unless you ask for the food

cooked specially with no sauce carb solution bars i dont really know the

exact carb count i know they say two carbs but there are hidden carbs in

all the bars. i would lose them for a while.. and balsamic vinegar has

sugar in it so i would use plain old olive oil and vinegar on my salads..

also try to keep dairy under four oz a day and yes drink your water..

i agree Joya my biggest dread is when my parents want to take me to dinner cus they take me to either Chinese buffet or old country buffet and no matter how careful i am at picking what to eat i end up with at least a four pound gain and sometimes that even sets of a cheat i do just fine if i stay OUT of restarants

Melody,

The chinese white sauce probably has either corn starch or flour in it. Chinese

food is tricky. A lot of the sauces have sugar in them

as well.

Is your salad dressing store bought?

Those carb solutions bars could also be stalling you.

Water, water and more water!

What is your total carb count per day?

Beth,

I was thinking they were around 20-30 or so...no more that is on the

high end. right now i am sitting here eating a salad. chicken,

romaine, cheese, & eggs..and dressing. Not alot though. i mean i am

very careful. or try to be.

no, i haven't i mean i have been on this diet since june of 98, just

went off over the holidays. i have 30 to go!!!
