Guest guest
I made my own vanilla extract. It should be ready tomorrow. I betcha mint extract is just as easy to make. Jodi, are you excited about your vanilla being ready tomorrow too? I'll post on how it came out as soon as I finish off the rest of my store bought vanilla extract. Guest guest
Eileen, we both made vanilla extract (2 Quarts Vodka to 6 slit vanilla beans, put it in the jar, shake it all around and wait 6 weeks while continuing to shake it from time to time) to be ready May 15. Guest guest
I use it a lot. I bake a lot though. It goes in the cheesecake (recipe from BTVC), pancakes (recipe from http://nomorecrohns.com/default.aspx), ice cream and the various other almond flour baked goodies I make. Some people use it in their smoothies or just mix it with a little honey in their yogurt.Kim H.husband, , CD 1999SCD 2002 Re: breath freshner (extracts) what are you making girl???
