Guest guest
, I have just returned from vacation and have not written to you yet, but was intrigued by your description of Destiny. I do not know how old she is, but can relate to your concerns about severe hypoglycemia. Let me back up a little bit.... My name is Jodi and I am the mother of an 11 1/2 year old boy named Maxwell. Max was diagnosed at 7 months. He, too, was severely hypoglycemic. We feel as if we are now experts about all of this, due to many trials and tribulations in many areas of his health. Can you tell me more about your daughter? Maybe I have learned a few things that I can share with you to help you with her. Does she have a g-tube? Is she on a feeding pump at night? If not, has anyone told you about using cornstarch before she goes to bed to help her blood sugar levels stay elevated? (This treatment depends on her age, though.) Please email me when you can. I hope I can help. Jodi
