Guest guest
Don't worry, Trista, I didn't take offense. It was funny and, oh, so true! Petunia was with me way longer than I was with my ex-husband. Petunia was also waaay nicer to me that he was! Even if she did eat my "new" couch and chair when she was a puppy. I bought a beautiful couch and chair at the thrift store/yard sale. I got the furniture home but it was late evening so I left it in outside overnight. Big mistake because Petunia ripped it apart. I mean destroyed it! I went out the next morning to get the newspaper and my screams could have been heard in the next county. I was so mad at her! But I kept her and she turned out to be a wonderful dog. Thanks to each of you for your condolences. It helped so much. Petunia has been buried in my new back yard at my new home. My son bought me a fig tree to plant near her grave. I'm doing okay but the remaining five dogs in this household are clearly grieving. My dog died this afternoonTo: "Group" <mserslife@yahoogrou ps.com>Date: Monday, June 2, 2008, 11:47 PMHi everyone: I'm feeling sad. My 13+ year old dog, Petunia, died this afternoon. She was a German Shepherd/Red Lab mix and was a sweetheart. She instinctive became my "service" dog. When I would fall Petunia would come to me, brace her legs and I would grab her collar, pulling myself up. She was a faithful companion all these years. She has been in declining health for months now and nature finally took it's course today. The past few days have been pretty tough for me. While taking care of Petunia as her life ebbed away, I have coped with an little MS flair and my family was at our new house working on it. I am so worn out physically but I have so much to do for the move. This household still has 5 dogs. One of them, Yippy, is mine. But Petunia has been with me for 13+ years and that's a long time.hugs)))Sharonhttp://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ MSersHEALTH/This email is a natural hand made product.
