Hi Kim:

I did an extensive search on the internet for miralax and the other

terms you mentionned to find Canadian sources and can't find any.

The few drug stores that had it listed said that they no longer sold

it. Can you tell me where you buy yours? and give me their contact

info?

Thanks alot,

quite a few. Looks like it's OTC as it is in the US. Here's one of

Hi Kim:

I used to have a prescription for Miralax or glycolax, but now that it's OTC I get it at my local Walmart or local drug stores. It's cheaper at Walmart, which is where I usually find it in the laxative section.

I see that some of the online prescription pharmacies don't carry Miralax, probably because it's no longer prescription but available over the counter, or maybe that's just US?? I also came across something that said the Canadian equivalent to Miralax is Colyte or Golytely. Not sure if that will help. You're right, some of the google searches are linking to old information.

Which makes me think you can check with one of your local drug stores, or Walmart if you have one nearby, and see if it's on their shelf in the laxative section. I hope it is. If it isn't, you can certainly ask for it. There's a lot of people who use it.

I'll do some more research later today when I can get to a faster Internet connection (at work). I'll report if I find a source for you.
