Guest guest
Well, most of the state has high smoke levels, high smog levels, etc. Here in the immediate S.F. Bay area and in San Francisco, the air quality is about the best. We are having a brief respite from the heat in these areas as the marine layer rolls in. My heart goes out to all those in the rest of the state, and in in Arizona, New Mexico, even Oregon and Washington, where the Western Region draught is extreme and the fires are spreading. Global warming is real and is causing the floods and increase in tornadoes and fluctuations in temperatures everywhere--as well as causing hot weather. I guess my age is showing, but I was born in 1937, when the nation was much smaller, as was the whole world, and I still won der why all these oil, coal and gas issues were not addressed as soon as WWII ended, as we were told in school, that they would be. Love to you, , and to Val and all in our group, wherever you might be, n
