Jaipur Email-rnpplus@...,brijdubey27863@... RNP+ is a community based charitable organization began its activities in Rajasthan since 2002. RNP+ is representing the needs of HIV/AIDS patients .In order to start bridging the vast needs of PLWHA and to ensure their participation in all HIV/AIDS related programs, the network of PLWHA with a group of people was formed on 14th January 2002 . We actively involved in spreading awareness programs and advocating the cause for better living of positive people. We network with other organization and support group nationally to urge other positive people to join hands in the common fight against HIV/AIDS. Affiliation Our organization is affiliated to INP+ and managed by people living with HIV/AIDS. Our organization is situated in Jaipur City , Rajasthan state of India and work towards upliftment of HIV/AIDS patients in Rajasthan and representing various needs of to help them to avoid isolation and get empower RNP+ invites applications for 1 new position (state coordinator) and 10 district coordinators/ 10 treatment officers/10 Conselors/ and 24 peer counselors Program Officer Major responsibilities: Overall co-ordination and management of the program at the state level. Regular follow-up with stakeholders like RSACS, and others for the smooth execution of project at the district level for activities requiring multi-sectoral inputs (supply of drugs, condoms, mass awareness campaign of MSACS and others). Project management of projects if and when required, and/or supervision/ guidance of project managers. Strengthen capacities of Peer counselors in applying appropriate strategies to dealing with HIV/AIDS in the communities they work with Promote strong networking with concerned organizations (government, NGOs, private sector) to deal with HIV/AIDS issues in partnership, and participate in these networks. Strengthen and liaise with existing networks of organizations and persons wherever possible and contribute to the development of networks where they are not yet in existence but are needed Sensitization and capacity building on HIV/AIDS with Plan staff and partners Coordination of all District Level Network Undertake and/or commission further research,report and documentation in the area of HIV/AIDS Preferred Experience: Qualification/ s: Knowledge and understanding of the issues of sexual exploitation, and its link to HIV/AIDS Strong practical program implementation experience At least 3 years experience of working in HIV/AIDS issues Experience with strategy development Core competencies: Strong consultation skills; a strong belief and capacity to consult with and involve PLWHAs, including children and other stakeholders, in the design, participatory implementation,supervision,monitoring and evaluation of programs Excellent communication and networking skills Comfortable working as a member of a team Fluency in writing, reading and speaking both English and Hindi to comfortably discuss HIV/AIDS-related issues with all audiences Capacity to liaise with government and other stakeholders and develop linkages Remuneration Rs 10,000 “and above (depend up on the qualification & experience of the Candidate) Interested Candidates should sent complete and filled CV along with application form on or before 15th November 20th November 07 Distrct coordinators: Major responsibilities: · Plan monthly activities along with the project team · Update and maintain all records at the DLN · Coordinate all trainings/workshops at the DLN · Collect/collate monthly reports of all staffs and submitting the same to the DLN officer and State Program officer · Explore and develop good referral linkages with all the district level NGOs and service providers · Develop linkages and build good rapport with key stakeholders and service providers under the guidance of the DNO · Prepare the Peer educator training report and submit the same to the State program associate · Provide adequate support to the network based on the needs of the board · Maintain programmatic and administrative books of records at the DLN. Submit monthly reports to the social worker Treatment Outreach worker Major Responsibilities Provide information on treatment for people on ART/Non ART Referral services to the DLN and to other service providers Update and maintain records/ registers Submit the monthly reports to the DLN Identify and provide trainings to the Peer Educators at the district level with the support of DNO Point person in organizing Peer Education Training at the district level Conduct community level support group meeting with the support of the counselor. Counselor: Provide counseling services to people accessing the services at the district level Provide referral services for the clients visiting the district level Make home and follow-up visits at the district level based on the need of the PLHA.
