Guest guest
I like making Vegetable casseroles. Usually a couple of veggies, eggs DCCC and some kind of grated cheese. I tried different recipes with almond flour added and it has always been very " heavy " for me. When I am feeling better I want to make a Veg Casserole but I was thinking is there a way to give it a " crunchy " feeling without any types of nuts in it? With the ingredients mentioned above -without- using almond flour is there a way for this " batter " not to be so wet? I like the flavor the eggs gives it. Guest guest
My standard breakfast these days is a vegetable omelet: cooked cut-up veggies (either leftover or sauteed, combination or single), added to beaten egg and sometimes chopped cheese and/or DCCC and/or herbs, and returned to pan. This is something like a frittata or a Spanish tortilla (without the potatoes). Debbie T (UC 28 yrs, SCD 10/06, Lialda) > > I like making Vegetable casseroles.
