Guest guest
Mark, When dealing with electronic documentation, where your notes are computerized, and you have to type a password in order to " sign " the note electronically, it is not necessary to sign with pen after the note is printed, though it may look more professional. A digital signature is equivalent to you signing your " Hancock " on the line, and all insurance companies will see it as a legally binding signature. I don't know how it works if your notes are just " automagically " signed by your documentation software, I.E. if you don't have to enter a password to sign the note, but I would guess that as long as it digitally prints your name in the signature box of your note, password required or not, it should be sufficient.
