From what I have read and seen on the mailing list, it seems that you can

get the operation done faster if you have private health insurance. I

presently do not have any, but would be interested in getting some if I

decide to have the operation. My main concern is that a private health

insurer would not take me on because of my weight in the first place. Is

this true? Do they accept new applicaitons for heavier people?
