Hi,........its not as bad as it looks, and as finicky as I am about stuff, I got use to using the nasal pillows quite well. At first it hurt my nostrils, but then I used a product by bliss-tek, called DCT, and coated the outer area of my nostrils and it not only made that area less sensitive it healed any raw areas. Not that there were many, but even with a soft material it still took some time to get use to it. I never did like the mask though as it seemed too confining. Steve also uses the pillows.

The glue is stronger than what they use for an ekg I think. But it just takes a little harder scrubbing to get it off. Maybe peanut butter would work for it too? lol.......just kidding!

Good thing you didn't need the pj's I offered! I can't find them. I was sure they were in my pj drawer! Tina might have them. But I think a t-shirt and shorts would be just fine. Some places you can ask for a female tech, and then you wouldn't be so embarrassed to show your boobies when they hook you up. lol.....then just put your t-shirt on and you're set to go. If you have to go potty in the middle of the night they can unhook you from the machine and then rehook you back up.

Here I am going on and on about, and maybe you've already had the test done?

It's no wonder you tossed that mask of! LOL How did you get used to the nasal pillows?? The get-up on their site... is that what you wear? Does Steve use this or the mask?

Is the glue like the glue used for EEGs and such things? I think I'd feel better showering at home, too. And one reason is that "public" showers give me the oogies and make my toes curl. LOL

Thinking of the glue reminds me of my brother when he was little. The morning he woke up with his head stuck to his pillow because he'd gone to sleep with gum in his mouth. My Mom used peanut butter to get the gum out of his hair. The only shampoo we had was strawberry scented. went to school that day smelling like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. LOL

after working in hospitals and nursing hoes and hospice - staff is immune to nekkid bodies - course it did amuse me when Dr Jeff gave me hormone cream for "down there" to help my pee problem - I didn't laugh at him - outside anyway

He is at our local county hospital - he is a hospitalitier - attending - he got a great deal - and he gets to moonlight at the clinic

Two of the attending got a half million dollar and benefit package to take over the civilian hospital in Altus, (West of here) - left the county hospital high and dry - so my two docs - Dr Graham took the two moles off last year
