Yogurt starter in San Diego

, Welcome to the group! For yogurt starter, I use Fage yogurt available at Trader Joe's. I have found it to be the best for making great SCD yogurt. The only drawback is that it does not have acidophilous cultures, so I just open up a capsule and add it to the milk after it's cooled down to room temp before it goes into my dehydrator for 24 hours. I get perfect yogurt every time! Not sure where in San Diego you are at, but the DCCC is available at Windmill Farms in Del Cerro.
