Guest guest
Hi , Yeah, I don't actually know whether it was the meat or just me. Although I can eat chicken at home -- but restaurant chicken I've noticed is so soft and juicy -- it's hard to believe there isn't something added. I've also tried 's hamburger (we seem to frequent similar fast-food joints!), and it also made me feel queasy, but not outright sick -- but it was so light I'm not sure that it wasn't just me being overly nervous trying a new food. Still, I decided to take a break from restaurant food after that. I look forward to the day I can eat with my family again! But I'll learn from your lesson and stick to the legal stuff! Thanks! Ann SCD since 03/30/2008 Hey Ann, Not sure if it was the meat--I was eating for sure illegal mayo plus raw tomato and onion-- I am still at a point where I was happy to eat an illegal burger andsmell my hubby's fries and enjoy it. After almost 6 months of noillegal food, and no problems I was ready to chance it. I just learneda leason that I thought others should know of-- Not sure if it was Culver's fault although I have eaten 's burgerswithout repercussions--UC 1/08SCD 12/07------------------------------------
Guest guest
I posted my own oops a few days ago. I am still not sure whether I need to go back to the introductory diet, after drinking 10 mg of Aloe Vera in what I thought was pure organic grape juice. I did not develop D. My only symptom has been gas. Would people with more experience please advise me as to whether I need to do the introductory diet again, or whether staying the course with the SCD legal foods I already consume will kill off whatever bad bacteria I inadvertently fed last week? Thanks. Ellen in Toronto SCD week
