Early on in the diet, I went to Culvers with my family, and interrogated the poor staff about their chicken -- ANY additives? ANY spices? etc. Manager assured me it was just plain chicken, so I ate it. I was SO sick afterward for about 24 hours. Maybe the store's staff really don't add anything to it, but perhaps it already came to the store with additives? Anyway, I can't stand the sight of a Culver's at the moment. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Well heres my sad story--I have been having pretty much regular poops for 4 weeks and havebeen tolerating all kinds of advanced foods. I'm eating raisins,

pickles, peanuts and raw cilantro. Way more stuff than ever before--with NO problems!!So yesterday, hubby and I were out shopping, without the kid (kind offelt like a date). And I'm starving. So there is a Culvers there and

I figure I will have a hamburger patty, like I do every now and thenat 's. But when I get there I go for the double deluxe withcheese (cheddar,no bun). I saw it came with lettuce (I can eatcilantro, right) and tomato (OK haven't eaten raw tomato yet) and

onion (also haven't done raw) and pickles (love pickles on aburger!). So it shows up all yummy and gooey and has mayo on it-- nowI know this is illegal---But gosh darn it nothing has been bothering me-- right?

Well nothing until about 2 hours later. I guess I forgot what my painfelt like. I still 30 hours later feel like someone has beenrepeatedly hitting me in the gut with a baseball bat.So OOPS!Back to my regular diet, no more brave moves, at least I didn't get

diarrhea and the pain wasn't stabbing.UC 1/08SCD 12/07------------------------------------

Hey Ann, Not sure if it was the meat--

I was eating for sure illegal mayo plus raw tomato and onion--

I am still at a point where I was happy to eat an illegal burger and

smell my hubby's fries and enjoy it. After almost 6 months of no

illegal food, and no problems I was ready to chance it. I just learned

a leason that I thought others should know of--

Not sure if it was Culver's fault although I have eaten 's burgers

without repercussions--

To me, this just shows what actual healing SCD does. A couple weeks ago, I too was starting to have symptoms, I got scared and went on the intro diet. But, like you, the pain I experienced on SCD was nothing compared to before. Oh, and my culprit was nut butters. WAY TOO advanced for me. <sigh> Misty Kimble Louisiana CDSCD - 4 monthswheath1013 wrote: So OOPS!Back to my regular diet, no more brave moves, at least I didn't get diarrhea and

Only if you are continuing to experience symptoms from

that occasion. If you had a minor blip and now you're back, I'd go

easy for a while diet-wise, maybe increase the yogurt or probiotics,

but not all the way back to intro.
