Guest guest
That's quite the subject line! LOL Let's see if I can write a post worthy of the title. I love my new home! I just wish the move was completely over, all our belongings were here and my little trailer was ready for me to move into. The old growth cedar trees here are magnificent! We have a fantastic array of wild birds coming to our feeders. I've always been partial to bluebirds and here we have several varieties to enjoy. We have seen deer tracks near our house, have been serenaded at night by a pack of coyotes and have the biggest jackrabbits I've seen in years. (but I don't want them near our garden!) The night sky is incredible since there is minimal light pollution here. It is cooler here in the mountains that it was in Phoenix. The Phoenix area has been "enjoying" 113 degrees or more, depending on location. We are running in the 90s here--sometimes the upper 90s, unfortunately:( As you can all imagine, my big problem here is the heat. Normally we would be able to run the swamp cooler a lot during the day but right now we can't (**see below). You certainly all know how the heat and stress affects MS. Yesterday my ribs started hurting. Yep, the good ol' MS Hug. I have also had a flare up of moderately severe leg spasms and spasticity in the past week. Then there is the worsening balance and urinary incontinence, too. Regular fun and games!** (here's the "below') I screwed up big time and damaged 's (my son) battery bank for the solar/wind system. I misunderstood what said about the power numbers and I let it run down too far. Dang! Now the power system is permanently damaged and we must get a brand new battery bank. That will cost about $700. Then add in the cost of gas right now for 's generator and it is simply not possible to run the swamp cooler for very long. I am trying to learn about this alternative power system. My brain just can't remember everything! LOL All that said--I am so happy to have this new place to call home. I really am happy here even though there are some challenges. Living in the backwoods of Alaska was waay more of a challenge-- but at least I wasn't hot! ROFL No matter what I have my faith and my faith will always get me through.Hugs to all of you)))SharonSharonhttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/MSersHEALTH/This email is a natural hand made product.
