Guest guest
Dear FORUM, I am very happy that after along time, at last the Indian Govt is committed to provide second line ARV medication. On behalf of people living with HIV/AIDS I give my heartfelt gratitude to those who took part in advocating. My concern is that why only in two centers, there are a numbers of people who already developed resistances in many others centres. The Govt should think twice before initiating access to 2nd line treatment only in two centers (in Chennai and Mumbai). What will happen to others centres, are we going to let them die? At least they should start off in six prevalence states as well.
