Guest guest
This isn't specifically an SCD question, but SCD is what turned me into a meat-eater and all my friends are veg*n, so I ask my SCD comrades...What is the best way to dispose of animal fat?I had my amazing chicken broth and ruined it with a stupid veggie soup experiment. Long story short, I ended up with a lot of very thick, fatty stew that has to be disposed of. I also left a cup of bone broth (very fatty, almost gelatin) in the fridge too long so that has to go, too.I know not to put animal products into the compost. It seems too thick and fatty to be toilet-safe.I'm not used to throwing liquid things in the garbage. (Seems sad to use an anti-enviro waterproof plastic bag just to throw it out?)When necessary, how do you all dispose of thick, gelatinous, fatty but liquid yet mushily solid stuff??Baden
