Guest guest
Hi Ann, I did make the trip to social security. One of my patients is a medical examier for SS and told me that Josh would medically qualify. Josh does have a heart defect, so I'm not sure if the RSS would stand alone. I also mentioned the acidosis. Anyway, I filled out all the paperwork & when I finally got in we were way over the income limit. The man who took care of us implied that if for some unforeseen reason lost my job we would then qualify. They are very nice & go over all the figures with you. If you are interested I could probably dig them up for you. Is it your husband who has medical problems? Forgive me if I'm mixed up. We also receive respite through our early intervention. We get $40 a month or we could have an agency come in & watch the boys for us. I prefer to ave my sister watch the kids and pay her. It helps us get out at least once a month. Hang in there! - mom of (3yrs) & (16mons,12lbs3oz, RSS, ASD-repaired) ville, NY
