Guest guest
I haven't posted in a while, but my swelling is coming back with more frequency, so I am starting the rollercoaster again. I have hypothyroidism. 4 days after I started taking Synthroid is when I began to get hives. That was in February. I have been on Synthroid, Levothyroid, Cytomel and through all of them, my hives continued. Right now, I am off of the thyroid medication for a while until they can get a handle on some other health stuff. In the beginning, they thought the med. was causing the hives, so they took me off in Aug. to see if the hives would continue while I was off of the med. Well of course they did, which is depressing. So I will have another check-up in December and at that time, I will probably be put back on some type of TSH replacement I am rallying for Armour, a natural replacement commonly used in Europe. It was commonly used in this country 25 years ago before the reign of the big bad drug companies and Synthroid. Hope your mom is doing better!!
