Guest guest
Do you now the story of the guy whose house was flooded, and the firefighters come, and he said "no, the Lord will save me", and he went on the top of his house, and the elicopter come, and he said "no the Lord will save me", and then he died and he asked to the Lord "what happen, you didn't save me", and the Lord said...."no kidding"... Sorry, no, I will not understand your decision to stop chemo, but i respect that. You are in my prayers, sister. LucillaEDWARD B SHROYER wrote: Dear friends, I have made a decision. When I got breast cancer, I can't tell you all the numbers they threw at me, but it was ER+, and spread to one of two lymph nodes. I had a mastectomy. I had a PET scan which shows no more cancer. I am going to go on Tamoxifin. The first chemo I had nearly killed me, literally. I have never been so sick in my life. I have decided to stop the chemo. Since they took my breast, no more cancer on the PET scan, and going on Tamoxifin, I am hoping for a good result. The Good Lord has given me 54 good years and I treasure each day. Whatever He has in store for me will work for me. I imagine some of you will understand this, and some will not, but based on what I've done so far, the chemo will only increase my chance of not getting a recurrence by a few percentage points.
