Today at the dentist, the hygienist noticed my plethora of canker

sores. She introduced me to a product called Colgate Smooth Seals, I

think. She just dabbed a little onto each sore and it formed a

barrier that lasted quite a long time. I think it would be great to

use at bedtime. That's when mine bother me a lot. I found them at Wal-

Mart today and they're not cheap, but when you have a mouthful of

sores, a little relief is worth a LOT! Marsha

I'm guessing it's like that orabase stuff, which is about $9 for .0of

an oz. But works.

Good luck.

You think it's dietary? Something is usually out of whack (acidic, I

think, when that stuff starts to grow and multiply.

Glad you got some relief.

Maybe the milk of magnesia gargle? Ewwwww.

..00f an ounce??? Wow. Someday I gotta learn to type. For .004 oz. I

joked that I'd bought Joy perfume for less, in bigger quantities.

Sorry

The colgate smooth seals is not thick and gummy like orabase. It just

forms a thin film over the sore. I love orabase B! I always have some

in my purse just for canker emergencies!
