Guest guest
I have been in a lot of pain and finally went to the doctor but not soon enough. He did some x-rays and it showed arthritis but he said that wouldn't cause of the pain I am in. I have pain in the hips and legs. It feels like I am bruised in the hips and someone is trying to pull my legs out of socket and ringing them out. i can feel my thighs but I can't. Wierd but not unusual accoring to the doctor. Even though i told him they ruled out MS he still thinks it's a flare-up from the MS. He gave me steroids (darn and ARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!). He upped my lyrica 25 mg. so i am on lyrica 100 mg BID. I ma not in so much pain after my scripts were filled. i think it is bcs of the steroids even though Idon't like it. . ( makes me gain more weight) It's not that I am obese.....I was weighed at 130 lbs. but I am 5'1" and always have been very thin.....about 100 lbs on average so I am going off one script that causes weight gam. I can't buy new clothes and I don't like the extra weight. My husband Bob says I have looked the best since we were married 7 years ago, although; we have been together for 10 years. I just don't feel great about it. The highest I have been is 145 lbs. I didn't like it then but the good news is it's not as high then. Tammy, have your "dad" go to a specialist (neurologist)....best in the treatment of Migraines. Hopefully he or she can do something for him. Preventative medication is good too but never worked for me but it works good on other people. It may be something alltogether so the cat scan is good. They can pick up anything; although; a cat scan is not as good as an MRI. Good luck and you guys are in my prayers. I know what Migraines does to a person. It can even last a month or longer. Just dependson the person ane his activities. Keep a long k? Luv and hugs,
