Guest guest
Dear Friends, I have been through the wringer lately with stress, and probably the chest painsthat I've been having relate more to that then to real heart issues. That being said,I went to the ER a wk ago Sunday with jaw pain, chest pain, numbness in my leftarm. EKGs showed everything was fine. My primary, however, wanted me to bechecked out by a cardiologist, so I have a huge amount of tests ordered after I sawhim this past Friday: fasting bloodwork, a heart ultrasound, chest CT, echo stress, and echocardiogram. Ironically, HE thinks it is more than likely stress, but wantsto rule everything else out. Today I have my Tysabri infusion, then on to the ultra-sound and CT. Wish me luck and send some prayers my way.I love you all, Kate (from NY) Please visit: http://www.bicycleman.comawesome guy, fantastic site. Guest guest
Hi Kate! Im so sorry. I know this is scary. I have some issues(little ones but still scary)with my heart.Due to my autonomic disease the nerves in my heart area are not as they should be and sometimes it causes pain and also short of breath on exertion jus to name a few.:)Sometimes it scares the crap outta me but it always passes. Hopefully it will with you too. Sounds like you have a good doc and hes being very cautious and not taking any chances. Those are good tests and will definetly pick something up if anything is wrong. Try not to worry to much(easier said then done,I know...) Will you know any results today?I will be praying and thinking about you. Miss you! Take care.. luv n hugz cassy heart issues or stress?
