Akiba:Hey! How nice of you to recommend us to your new member. And now they are our new member! Welcome to justrubl! We are family, aren't we? It's like this morning when I heard the story about the "Gonging Ceremony" in San Francisco and I thought "Dana will be there". When Kate was in the hospital my grandkids would say "and please bless Kate Rothschild" during the family prayer. When I see a story about a tornado or hurricane I worry about and Tom. When I see the weather forecast is for an ice storm for Oklahoma I worry about Anne or when the forecast shows heavy snow for you, or nne and Chuck, or Bill/Lynn/Shirley in Indiana..... or I could go on and on here.hugs to each of you and please have a safe New Years

Yes, we are. I saw the gong show...er...ceremony, and also thought of him, and of n. I thought it was pretty cool. I noticed the number..108. I wear a Rudraksha Mala (kind of a Hindu rosary) and they always have 108 beads...so when I pray my mantra with it, I know I repeat it 108 times. I have several malas...this one, which I NEVER take off, clear quartz, rose quartz, aventurine, sandalwood...one I made with jade and lotus seeds that is double long (for healing prayers) and one that is clear quartz and pietersite, also double long, for energy and vitality. The traditional ones have a tassel, but the ones I've made I used a focus bead instead, since my tassel-making skills are non-existant. They say they make them this way because one needs to repeat one's mantra 100 times and the extra 8 beads are for losses or skips. My mantra is long so it is good to not have to count! I saw something awhile back about a woman in her 70's dying in an apt fire in San Francisco, *immediately* thought of n, and was scared when she didn't post for a few days...(we get Dishnet so news comes from Atlanta and San Francisco) Ok, this was way longer then I expected...and I could go on but I'll spare y'all.. Hugs Akiba -- Re: MS Akiba:Hey! How nice of you to recommend us to your new member. And now they are our new member! Welcome to justrubl! We are family, aren't we? Luckily, Akiba, and thank you for thinking of me, I live

ALL THE WAY across the S.F. Bay in the East Bay, in

Oakland, where the main problem seems not to be fires,

but gunshots, and I live in a little, tiny section right next

to Berkeley where nary a shot is heard; I can throw a

pine cone and it will land in Berkeley!

Thank you for this post, dear Akiba!

love,

n
