Marie, I'm late seeing this. I was at Best Buy today and noticed they don't

have Weblink now, it's Arch (I'm in Dallas). When I got my pager there 2 mos

ago it was WL. Guess they switch it out now and then? My Radio Shack ad

still shows they use Weblink. You can get just as good a deal on the web,

from what I've seen you probably shouldn't pay more than $99 (after the

rebate). I suggest you scout around the web and see which companies are

available there. There's usually a place to put in your zip to see. (send me

yours and I'll help!) You might try Weblink:

On the left side you'll see " coverage " and you can check that with your zip.

My plan is 19.99. I get 400 messages a month that can be up to 100

characters each. It's been plenty so far, if I upgrade to the 29.99 plan I

get 2000 messages. Way more than enough. No, it's not a sub for a cell but

I don't see the reason to even compare the two. Ok I'm looking at the " where

to buy " section, they're selling the pager for $99 and you don't have to fool

with a rebate. Let me know if you have questions, so far I'm pretty happy

with mine. You can also check Skytel:

They are selling the pager online for $199.95 then you wait for your $80

rebate.

Ok, I'm now at http://www.archwireless.com/

They want $179.95 and I don't see a rebate offered. That's too high! The

monthly fees look about the same as the others. I think I saw the brochure

you have and it's kind of confusing, but this web page has rates and they're

not too bad (not the same as what you mentioned). Let me know if I can help

Well I went to the local RAdio Shack, and the guy said he is not selling the

T900 because we are in a " dead zone " (even tho I am only 35 mi from Pgh) and

do not have coverage; I also noticed that at Best Buy they changed to ARch;

Their price was $179, same as Radio Shack; I asked the salesperson, I

thought you were discount; he gave me some song and dance about the

manufacturer not willing to go any lowers, etc. Anyhow now Radio Shack has

come out with $99 one, but like I said, the guy local said there is no

coverage here; however that maybe before they switiched to ARch. I have

talked to na's sister, who works for Arch. She said they are having a

special $199, buy one get one free (but like I have no use for two), then I

think it was about $25.95 per month. I am about thinking mayabe I am going

to pass on a T900; who do I keep in contact with? I mean it is different if

you have husband/kids, etc. But unless I get a dog who can use a pager, my

Mom is clueless with electronics, and still has a rotary phone which will

not mesh; I have both a text and numberic pager, so I could always just get

service again. I discontinued it when I got a phone that virbrates,

thinking I would wear the phone. But the phone is a pain, too clunky and

easy to lose, so I do not wear it and never use it. BUT you need it in case
