Guest guest
Dear Group I went for the biobsy of the upper wall of the soon to be gone uterus. There is a fibroid 10cm..the size she said of a baby's head( in the cavity) along with fibroids large and small in the walls and aso on stalks. The one in the cavity grew 3cm since last year! Of course they are not ruling out sarconoma, and a few on the upper wall are calcifing. I am 47. She said that removal of the uterus is the best option. To remove the large one in the cavity would be as hard and operation as removeal of the uterus abdomallly. She referred me to a gyno cancer specialist in Albert Einstein hospital in the Bronx. I do not feel it is cancer as I have read and seen that as you get older fibroids can grow without reason. My question is....is there another test to take for sarcoma without removing the fibroid and testing it? I value all your help, Barbara
