Guest guest
Hmmmm.... I don't know if I tolerated them or not... I only ate a couple spoonfulls last night. I just thought they were regular peas and didn't think anything about them until I tasted them and they tasted like black eyed peas (which are my fave peas) and I remembered them being illegal. Guess I'll throw them out. Thanks for the info. They are a lot smaller and tender than field peas. We spent most July 4ths shelling them. And you get pretty purple fingers for about a week after, oh well... All I can say is... I've put them on MY illegal list. If you want to try them. and see.... I mean, I grew up eating wheat bread, too, and don't do that any more. <wry grin> I'm not a good person to ask about peas because even baby green peas give me grief.
