Guest guest
Vicki - I have not found anyone except me with no muscle weakness either! Why the docs think it is one of the myositis diseases - my CPK has been 700-900 range since March, my soreness is in my quads (apparently that is classic poly), my swallowing difficulties, my night fevers and my few episodes of double vision. (Plus they have ruled out tons more diseases) I asked the rheumy the other day how I could have myositis with no weakness and he said he had noather patient who started with soreness and eventually had weakness. I am still having tons of tests since I don't seem to have the classic weakness symptoms. Just in the next two weeks, I have two more MRIs scheduled (deltoid and calf), a muscle biopsy, more weakness tests with the neuro, another swallowing series with the radiologist (the swallowing problem is a real pain, if you know what I mean!)
