Guest guest Posted December 20, 2007 Report Share Posted December 20, 2007 Dear FORUM, The International Health Organization's (IHO) Distinguished Lecture Series and Grand Rounds took place on December 15, 2007 and December 17, 2007 at Dr. SN Medical College in Jodhpur in collaboration with s Hopkins University, School of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, World Economic Forum/Global Health Initiative/ India Business Alliance, Global Foundation for Humanity and Health and Public Welfare Society. Dr. Gita Sinha of s Hopkins University spoke and presented cases on Fungal Infections among HIV patients and was on Clinical rounds for five days in the ART Centre and in patient wards at the Medical College Hospital. Dr. Shaloo Puri-Kamble discussed HIV-TB Co-infection and Public-Private partnerships and spent couple days in the clinic discussing cases with the clinicians from the Medical College Hospital. Among the Distinguished attendes included Principal and Controller, Head of Chest and TB Dr. PK Gupta of Dr.SN Medical College, Former Principals and Controllers Dr. SD Purohit who specializes in Chest and TB, Dr. KR Joshi, Microbiologist, Dr. Dr. Mathur, Chief of Pathology and Supritendent of the Dr. SN Medical College Hospital, Dr. BD Gupta, Chief of Pediatrics and Supritendent of Medical College Hospital, Dr. RS Gahlot, Head of Internal Medicine, Doctors from the Jodhpur Military Hospital, Professor Arvind Mathur, Dr. KC Joshi, Dr. Diwakar Tejaswi and various experts including the senior Faculty members of the Medical College,Fellows, residents, interns and Medical students. The collaboration between IHO, Dr. SN Medical College, WEF And JHU Will present future lectures on Infectious Diseases, Cardiology, Nutrition, Ethics, Stem Cell therapy among other topics.
