Do you actually " feel " any different after they're gone? Like more energy or

not so drained? I was in the ER (major bleeding/miscarriage) and the on-call

dr was telling me that I will feel " so much different " after having them

removed. But she couldn't explain exactly how. Just that I would. She said

something like I have had them for so long that I have " adapted " to them.

And just wait, you'll feel like a new woman. ????

P.S. I'm starting to get nervous...I'm having a myo on 06-04!!!

Re: Hello...doing well at 3 months post myo

I am 5 weeks post myo and have similar experience as Tish.

I feel numb just above my incision. I am guessing that that

comes from nerve damage. I am sorry to hear that it doesn't

go away after 21/2 years. I also have that ocasional sharp

pain. After 5 weeks somedays I still have to go slow and

have a nap but I am so glad I had the myo. Having fibroids

stinks.

,

I had hysteroscopic myomectomy on May 2nd, and it has totally made me feel

different. I have more energy and my sex drive has gone way up. I didn't

have any symptoms from my fibroid other than my 2 miscarriages, but the

difference is tremendous. It has totally changed how I feel. Good luck with

your myo.
