Guest guest
Val, I did go and see her last week but had to come home and go back to work. She didn’t know I was there—though her blood pressure would drop some whenever I would talk to her. It is hard to be so far. Guest guest
Sharon, I spent 4 days in Germany last week. There was no change in my mom when I was there. She never moved a muscle or opened her eyes. My sister and sister-in-law keep me updated several times a day. I call the nurse’s station daily too though they aren’t very informative. My mom is only 73. She lives alone and drives around town with her friends. She does have some health issues—diabetes, asthma and congestive heart failure—all managed with meds. The German emergency room wanted to just let her die when she was taken there because of her age and the lack of respirators available in the hospital. My SIL ( a nurse) jumped in and they careflighted my mom to a big city (Nuremburg) for treatment. Thanks for the prayers—they are much appreciated.
