Guest guest
Dear Carol So sorry to hear your case has worsened. Just to share some of my experiences with you. I am 44, have fibroids which I discovered by chance sometime Feb 1998. Was told growth on the posterior and external wall of womb. Since they did not give me any problem - bleeding, pain, bloating, doctors told me 'wait and see'. Sometime Oct 2001, when my period came, I suffered cramp and pain. Consider I never have any PMS, this is major to me. I also suffered consticipation, then I did not link up to enlarged fibroids.[last check up with doc was in June 2002, then only commented as slightly enlarged fibroids, did not even tell me I need to take any action to remove them]. Occasionally bloatting too. I started consuming E Excel products - herba, refresh, lidan, pearlin, ACT, Millennnium on recommendation of a friend who has cyst problem. Her cyst disappeared after heavy consumption of the above products, for quite sometime. I went for a check up in March 2002 and was told they had grown! I was told I am carrying fibroids which made me like 4-5 months pregnant. Doc told me to go for Hyst and 2nd doc told me to go and see him 6 months' time, in Oct 2002, and to explore embolisation for me. I am not promoting E Excel products, however, I must say my bloatting feeling is not there and no consticipation. I have also carried out Chinese 'qi gong' which require a lot of exercise and twisting about my waist. I read article that said pelvic circulation is very important for patient suffering from fibroids symptoms. So exercise that require twisting my waist around + the above products seem to have improved my condition. This E Excel products are manufactured by E Excel in US. A famour lady immunologist DR ChauFei Chen founded the Co. The products are expensive! BUt they have helped me so far. I heard a guy at one of the seminars I attended [organised by E Excel] that he has cyst grown all over his body - behind his ear lobe, below his chin, front and back of knee. he has been going through operation now and then to remove them, but cysts still grow one after another. He said since consuming E Excel products, he never have cysts. I likened the cysts of this guy is similar to cyst/fibroids in woeman body. Hoping that my consumption of these products will help me finally. Friends who have friends suffering from cancer and have undergone treatment -radiotheraphy/chemeo, their conditions stablisied after consumption of E Excel products. I have ran out of ways to treat my fibroids, while waiting for doc to tell me in OCt whether UAE woudl be suitable for me. I rather tried my luck on the above products to see how far will I go. NO harm have a try on E Excel products [products mainly extracts of herbs, cactus, bee pollen, jinseng berries, etc]. It is a direct sale company, you just have to become a member to consume the products at distributor price. I will keep fellow chat members posted on my developments. It was diagnosed as problems from fibroids. I have one medium 8 cm and two smaller ones. I do not have bleeding problems. My bloating has worsened each day. I have been seen by a gastroenterologist twice, a gynecologist twice, and my primary care physician twice. I've sent many faxes in leiu of shorter phone calls describing my symptoms. All in all I've been seriously misdiagnosed and misled. I had a CAT scan yesterday and I was told my worsening and severe bloating is water collection and is due to possible ovarian cancer and I will have an emergency hysterectomy as soon as can be arranged. I am still in shock especially as to how it effects those whom I love and whom I am responsible for. I fainted and couldn't look anyone in the eye. All the greiving I must do will come later. Guest guest
Good luck to you Carol. I know women who've had to have hysterectomies and they have not regretted it. So don't despair, and thank the lord that they have found the cancer in time. Loly Emergency Hyst > Dear Everyone, > > This may be my last post to this group. Guest guest
Carol, I think it would be useful to the others in the group if you were to continue to post. I would be interested in finding out if indeed you do have ovarian cancer and the outcome of your hysterectomy. Terri > Dear Everyone, > > This may be my last post to this group. Guest guest
Dear Carol, i'm a new member to this group, -- caught your recent post and wanted to wish you wellness wellness wellness. quite honestly, being just recently diagnosed (i suppose diagnosis isnt final till the ultrasound is done), your email has frightened me to push them to move faster. the state of healthcare in this country is at an all time low and as long as they can put you off, apparently, they do. i understand the severe bloat you describe and having an anorexic past isn't helping me accept any of this quietly. god will take care of you and i'll keep you in my prayers. valerie phoenix, az Emergency Hyst Dear Everyone, This may be my last post to this group. Guest guest
Hi, this is Kerry, Carol's husband. She wanted me to let all her friends on this list to know that she is recovering well from her surgery. It took place on Saturday June 8, and took 6 hours. They found cancer, quite a bit of it, but the gynecological oncologist believes that he was able to get 99% of it. It does not appear to have spread outside the abdominal cavity or to the lymph nodes. So far her prognosis is good. Thanks for all the individual letters of support, I'm sure she will want to respond personally when she gets home. Re: Re: Emergency Hyst | Carol: | I just came back to the list. Good luck and I'll be thinking of you. | Cheryl | | |
