Hi Connie and everybody,

Sorry I disappeared like that and didn't respond to anyone about Adderall. My aunt died and I've been in Flint all this time. I did try Adderall and wow, it works! I'm quite impressed. That is exactly why I got it, to stay alert while teaching and I think this will do it. Thank you Connie, Val and others for your input. I'll keep my eyes on it for sure!

I take Ritalin which is just like Adderall. My doctor prescribed the long-acting, slow release. It works for me. I know there are addiction warnings but if you need it to stay awake (me) then I am not going to worry about that right now. I have been on it for over 1 year and the fatigue is so much better. As a special ed teacher, I need to be able to serve my students so I going to continue on it. My neuro has me call every month and she sends out a 30 day prescription.

My son was on Adderall for ADD in high school and when he got to college, it was stolen twice. Kids use it for a study aid or just to get high. He went off of it because he was tired of hiding it. But I take mine at home and haven’t had any of those issues.Connie B

Hey all,

Has anyone ever taken Adderall for fatigue? My doc just prescribed it to me because Provigil made me too jumpy. So I'm kind of wondering how this will be. It certainly came with tons of warnings on addiction and illegal activities so I'm highly curious. Any input?
