First thing - Himself is a first-responder, and had to go the other night

to an MS patient who was having a seizure, and has a history of them. Are

seizures a common thing for MS, or is it more likely she has an additional

condition?

Second thing - the last couple of days my heat-intolerance has been BRUTAL

- I had to stagger outside several times when cooking or washing dishes or

some such chore got me over heated. Weak-legged, dizzy, nauseous, thought I

was going to pass out - is this maybe because on top of Swiss-Cheese-Brain

I'm a little stressed about visitors coming? I hope?

My sister called today and now she's coming a week later, so at least I

will only have one visitor a week...

Glad to hear

seizures are not too common – for some reason they are VERY scary to me….

And I

know I shouldn’t sweat the small stuff – especially when it’s

just family coming – but sometimes my OCD jumps on the horse and runs

away with us all…<G> I’m just hoping the heat

thing backs off at least a little bit – and heat intolerance + hot

flashes IS NOT A FUNNY JOKE, LORD! ;-)

I

love my little fan. I have a little battery-operated fan that I can carry

all around the house with me, and it sits on my bedside table at night to blow

just on my face and not make Himself cold.

Man, I know what you mean.. It's still hot here. We are supposed to have some relief today, though. It's only supposed to get into the mid 60's. Yeah, that's what they say. We'll see. It's 5am here right now. It may be cool outside, but I'm burnin' up in here! Monsterpaws and MS just do not go together. Seems so unfair, doesn't it?

I hope your visits go well. I know OCD can be a pain. Breath...in...and...out. In...and...out. Stop! No! Not so fast!!! S-l-o-w-l-y....there ya go!!! LOLOL Just having some fun.

Love and blessings....

heat is a major problem - even with air conditioning - I have a small desk fan to blow over my head to stir the air

Stress is the booger for us - it magnifies everything and adds a few extra

Himself - my son is an EMT and a fireman - after 30 years he decided he was getting too old - brat was born in 1967 - guess he is - where was I

It is possible that the patient had seizures and then was diagnosed with MS - could have been head trauma at some point

Can't remember what I learned when I worked with the MR's in MO - we had all of them including the meningitis

As the weatherman predicted, Yesterday (Sat.), was a B-E-A-utiful day. In the mid 60's. Can't say I still get warm a time or two, but the weather was great! Today, the weather is supposed to be warmer. Uhgg...Just as long as it's not humid. I guess I can deal with it.

Had my son with me all day today. Time sure flies when you're playing "catch-up". I am sooo proud of him. He's so mature for his age. I couldn't have asked for a better kid.. I love him so much.

Guess what else??? I"m actually starting to lose some weight and I'm not even trying. I don't know how much I've lost. I'm just going by the way my clothes are fitting and what people have been saying.

Okie dokie, gonna skidaddle.

Love and blessings...
