Here I am, butting in again. My daughter is definitely behind her hearing

brothers in both walking and weight gain. Her PT'ist says it's a vestibular

thing, the balance issue. Her developmental pediatrician says it's common

for hearing impaired children to be born hyper-flexible with less tension in

their muscles, but that it will come. The weight issue...I haven't a clue!

She's nearly 16 mos and is a very long, lean 20 lbs. Her brothers were this

at 10 mos! Not so bad for Mom to carry though. Blessings, Laurie
