Guest guest
Val, I just have faith that will get better. I have forgotten her age, but one of my own daughters gave us a real run for a long time, finally straighted up, out and is a huge success in life. For me, hope springs eternal. Highest hopes for ! Love, n, who does have epilepsy and knew how they were testing her. Psychological problems can often be treated extremely successfully--beats a life long dose of anti-seizure medication, in many ways. more love, from more n Pseudo Seizures... It's not Epilepsy. Whew!!! But, now we have another long row to hoe. Turns out that the Neurologist went to, is my neurologist too. He was very optimistic and made an appointment with the mental health clinic for to be seen by a psychiatrist. This is not going to be easy for her and it may even require some long-term treatment. Nothing that I didn't expect. I've always known there was something wrong. She says she's not going to fight me on this, and she'll do what's necessary to get better. I'm glad she's taking it so well. I asked about the testing they did, and what they put on her hand to bring on the seizure. He said, "Your daughter was an easy study. All we used was the power of suggestion. The substance that was applied to her hand was merely acetone". I was surprised he said this in front of her, but I suppose he was just being honest. Now, I'm wondering if getting her to see a hypnotherapist might not be a bad idea. Hmmm... Y'all have a great evening. A hurricane is supposed to hit us late tonight or early in the morning, so I don't know how much longer I'll be able to use my computer. Love and blessings...
