Guest guest
In response to the debates on saccharin, table salt, decaf drinks, etc., the amount of illegal additives in these items are negligible to the body if consumed in normal amounts. The " Big Picture " is we are no longer eating the same diet we used to eat before SCD. While I do use saccharin and table salt in normal amounts, and drink decaf tea, I no longer eat pasta, baked potatoes, breads, cakes and desserts. I also don't snack on potato chips, regular peanut butter, cookies or M & Ms like I used to and my body has responded very, very positively to the change. I try to follow the diet as closely as possible but if I am at a restaurant or a friend's house, I am not going to agonize if the salt I am putting on my cooked broccoli is legal or not.
