Guest guest
I so appreciate your telling me all this, Shirley. The doctor did say it would be done via x-ray, so yes, sounds the same as yours. Is this, do you think in any way, MS-related? or just your 'basic' degenerative arthritis? I am thinking I may eventually need surgery as well, but don't want to, or like to, think about that at this juncture. Gee, was that just a coincidence with sitting next to your surgeon? What all did you chat about? or did you? Is the procedure painful? He said he wasn't going to go deep, as in an epidural, but more on the surface. Into the facet joint--which is where I have the terrible pain. thanks again, Shirley. Will you be traveling to NY anytime soon? Let me know. love, Kate Kate, I had it done several times and never had any trouble. Is is a radiologist going to do it? My radiologist used a fluoroscope to make sure the needle was in the right place. I know that made the procedure much easier on me. I even watched it on the screen...lol I'm like that with all stuff being done to me though. I finally had to have fusion surgery at L5/S1. My spine was moving in a direction it shouldn't have. Best thing I could have done too!! I sat next to that surgeon on the airplane on the way to see Christy. Let me know if you have any questions.
