Guest guest
Last company is gone, everything is peaceful and quiet.... now to manage to get the house back to normal! Got my son to do some things off the Honey-do list his dad hasn't had time for, one of the aunts had a party for him Wednesday night, he's back to Arizona. Did " turista " stuff with my sister, went to Deadwood and explored Mount Moriah (the famous cemetery) and saw the graves of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane, nearly got blown off the mountain by the wind...<G> went to Buffalo yesterday and went through the Occidental Hotel, which was built before statehood and has hosted pretty much every famous person who ever came west, now is a very cool hotel/museumand went into an art store where a painted bench had a price tag of $3000!!!!!! Gotta get me some paints! Sis left for her next " hiring fair " stop tonight.... I'm tired. My brain hurts from having to actually carry on entire conversations without the " charades " that Himself is used to and can usually guess. I was happy to see them both, and now I am happy to be quiet. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................. :-) In a very messy but blissfully emptied house in WY " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Come on by, we’ll stagger through History together…<G> Come to think of it, I’m kinda sitting here in history, in my old house on the old homeplace that was first “granted” in 1886, 5 years before statehood…the first record of the house is 1920, but when it was actually built and WHERE it was actually built, nobody knows – they move houses around in Wyoming like they move cars! And at the moment it looks like it hasn’t been VACUUMED since before statehood too! I can clean, or I can go to town, or I can do turista stuff – but I can’t do any two of these things on the same day. Got a goodly bit done today, so tomorrow it’s Terrify The Animals With The Vacuum day – and today I made a big pot of cheese-potato soup and sunflower-seed rolls, so don’t even have to cook. Maybe we like a nice clean house as something we can (sort of) control? Can’t complain much about how I’m feeling, just tired – “good” tired, and kinda sore. And tomorrow I can do whatever, whenever because even Himself won’t be home till late…. Ooooo, total control of the TV remote….bwa-hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa……. in WY " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return...
