Guest guest
Dear forum Can any one say the differences between CD4 Count and CD4 Percentage? During our HBC programs for the infected children we found from their medical record CD4% rather than CD4 count. What is the minimum % to start ART medicines for the infected people? -Lucien- Socialworker e-mail: <fmlucy@...>
Guest guest
Dear FORUM, Re: /message/8740 CD4 count tells the number of CD4 cells per cmm. while CD4 percentage will tell the number in percentage. Usually it is not a practice to mention CD4 in percentage and is mentioned in count. All the HGP and workers in the filed of HIV/AIDS are more used to CD4 count. All the parameters and guidelines take CD4 count as the index for decision. Dr. Nishikant Shrotri E-MAIL: <nishikant@...>
