Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (Infectious

Diseases) Course at YRG CARE

YRG CARE (Y.R.Gaitonde Centre for AIDS Research and Education), an

internationally renowned non-profit and non-governmental organization at

Voluntary Health Services Hospital Campus, Taramani, Chennai - 600113 has

formulated a one-year full time PGDMLT course in Infectious Diseases for the

first time in India.

The course is scheduled to commence in the month of August 2008. This course

will focus on the diagnostic aspects of various infectious diseases and special

emphasis would be given to educate candidates on various state-of-the-art

technologies available to diagnose HIV, TB, Hepatitis viruses and other

infectious diseases.

The course also features curriculum to train candidates on Good Clinical

Laboratory Practices (GCLP), ISO/NABL standards and clinical trials.
