Guest guest
Mara, I've had good luck drying mint using my dehydrator set on the 'herbs' temperature. Guest guest
Hi Mara: I don't have a dehydrator and have been looking into this. A couple years ago and herb dealer at a Farmer's Market told me he gets a styrofoam ball, attaches the herbs to a straight piece of metal and then sticks the metal in the styrofoam ball with the herbs pointing downward (can't remember why). I never tried it because I don't have a porch nor is my back patio covered. It will be one day though. Here is a place I bookmarked for when I do try. http://www.bloglander.com/cheapeats/2007/12/13/how-to-dry-herbs/ or http://tinyurl.com/6grtzq Misty Kimble > Does anyone know how to dry herbs for the rest of the year?
