Guest guest
Hi Mickie!~ I'm glad to see you posting. I was just thinking about you the other day, and was wondering how you are getting along. Sounds like, not so well right now. Yes, do get back to the Dr. to see what's going on. You don't think that some of the shaking might be due to some of the meds you're on, do you? I was just wondering. I'll be lifting you in prayer. I hope you find relief for your symptoms soon. Love and blessings... Val wrote: Not much has changed for me since I last posted. I have a new dr. and in sept whan I saw him the first time with all my records in hand from my last dr., he just side stepped the MS issue and sent me to a shrink to get my meds regulated. So, I am on Cymbalta, Ativan, Lithium, and Baclofen. My shrink ran my bloodwork and my thyroid is low, that was in Nov. but in sept it was normal, so now im seeing a thyroid dr.Anyway, I have had the shakes for over a month really bad. The only time I dont shake is when I am laying it bed. My MD says the shakes are from my thyroid and my thyroid dr says its not. I hate dr's. When I stand, my legs shake so bad, I can only stand for a few minutes. My hands shake so bad, I have a hard time keeping food on the fork, and my left eye twitches on and off all day. I dont drive anymore because I just cant trust myself behind the wheel.Whats weird is, I just happened to come here today and took a look at some of the files that are posted and I ran across a file titled, "Tremors, Muscle Spasms and Spasticity" and read it. As I read it, it was like OMG this is whats going on with me right now.So, I am copying the info and going to hand it to my dr and tell him do something for me or I will go elsewhere. I need treatment fast.I miss you all and hope you are doing good. Take care and god bless!MickieEuphemisms are unpleasant truths wearing diplomatic cologne. ~Quentin Crisp~ Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Mickie~ Glad to see you posting my friend; but sorry to hear bout so much going on. I had to go off cymbalta myself. I'd ask the psych/med doc about any or all side effects from any meds and ask if there are tremoring effects from any? Just a thought. It of course could be MS, plain and simple, as dumb as that sounds, lol! Stay strong and well my friend. How are the kids? hugs and blessings for better days ahead, love, Kate Sorry for My Abscents in Posting. Not much has changed for me since I last posted.
