It's always shocking to see someone you know in the obits. 3 or 4 years ago she had knee surgery and had a lot of complications afterward. Doctors couldn't figure out why she kept having trouble walking. Then they found that she had MS. She was in a motorized chair for at least two years and had gained a lot of weight. I don't know the details as to what she actually died from yet. I ran into her just a few months ago and she looked better than she had for a long time. She was happier than I'd seen her in a while.
