Guest guest
Two months ago I was feeling not horrific, but "blechy all over". I spent $80 on a kit to cleanse my body of candida. By the second dose, the kit had made me extremely ill --vomiting profusely, etc. Very horrible experience. I stopped the kit, did some research --learned that vomiting is not a common response and that this may or may not have been related to my yeast levels. I returned the kit. I was disappointed, because I'd wanted an 'easy' way to become well. Before starting the kit, I completed the kit's questionnaire. It said a score of '80 or over' indicates severe yeast overgrowth. I scored 200. Yes, 200. I scored for confusion, anxiety, pain, fatigue, insomnia, itchiness, mood swings, rectal itching, strong body odour, you name it.I just did the questionnaire again. I scored 25. "It is unlikely that Candida overgrowth is a problem for you." The only real issues remaining are the pain and fatigue in my muscles upon even brief, mild exercise (present pre-SCD as well). This feels like a lactic acid build up, if anyone has SCD-friendly tips around that. The only change I've made is to go on the SCD for the past eleven days and properly. I knew I was feeling better than I had in months or years, but it's neat to see progressive score sheets (which is a tip Elaine G does give).Keep the faith!Baden SCD Day 11Child 3 yrs; SCD 4 mos Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
