Ok, here's the skinny. *C* called, and we had a nice, long talk, starting with her profusely apologizing for how the whole thing "went down". Apparently they WERE intending to talk with me about it, but I figured it out first and flipped (true). She admitted that it was all wrong, but they had only decided at the last minute, and only because Robbin himself was crying about them leaving without him, he SO badly wanted to go. And I believe that, because I know how excited he was at the whole prospect. She admitted that Rob really REALLY needs to learn to communicate with me. I told her that I CAN be reasonable, I DO understand Rob wanting to spend time with his son, but I can ONLY be reasonable if I have TIME to "wrap my mind around it" Springing it on me like that, especially at a time where I am SO raw (and it is Mercury Retrograde to boot) is just Wrong. She agreed. So, the plan is: She won't get paid to be able to come back up until the first of Nov. This, of course, means I will miss Robbin's birthday, but I can make up for that when I see him, it will only be a few days after. They will come up and "collect" me and my "stuff" and chair. We'll go down, and Robbin and I will stay with her, unless we have been able to find a place for us in advance. Things like "Divorce" and "Custody" and "$$$" will wait till we get there. I know Robbin and I will be ok financially, and it will actually be almost refreshing to not have to pay for Rob as well. But I will still go for child support from him...make him WORK for once (he ain't getting' off THAT easy). So, I will be looking for a place anywhere in Pa, Md, or even Del. For Robbin and myself. As for the farm, I might have to let it go, I will try to find someone to assume it and maybe even pay ME a down, which I could use for moving costs. I do, after all, have 15k in equity, and the payments are only $650, the loan a land contract with NO interest...and only about 52k to pay off.
