It is being sponsored by the Multiple Sclerosis Society (Georgia Chapter)...The topic is Adherence and Compliance Program...The thing I do not understand though, is why his office has invited me to this function...That is if he is not sure my problems are consitent to MS..Is he just scared of how I might take the news...I am just confused, lol, I was already depressed before the phone call...But now after the phone call I am even more depressed...He also wants me to go to Emory U to see a Neuro...I am so confused, and so tired...utzdana@... wrote: What is the topic of the seminar and who is sponsoring it? If it is free and it is convenient for you to attend, then I recommend going. It is in your own interest to get information about MS and to possibly meet others who "understand" your condition. --Mr. Dana F. awhile but have something that is really bugging me and hope that I can get some feedback to help me. First, I hope the New Year is finding everyone doing good and optimistic of good things to come in 2008!!Okay, here's what is totally getting me.. my memory is totally failing me. I can't remember things from 12 hours ago. I mean it's like a distant fog if I can remember it. It is especially effecting me at night. Like anything that happens after 6pm is gone! I can be emailing people and not remember it. I can talk to my husband/kids and not remember it the next day. I don't even take my night meds until way later (and they are the meds I've taken forever with no problem)so I don't think it's the meds.I know MS can effect memory - but to what degree???? I am starting to feel like the girl in the movie "50 First Dates". It is very depressing. Plus, I don't know if I can tr ust what I am doing at night.

If you are wondering why he suggested you go, I guess the best thing is to call and ask him.

While he may not be sure you have MS, it appears it may be a possibility. And, perhaps he'd like you to learn more about it, just in case.

If the thought of meeting folk with MS is too depressing at this time, then maybe don't go. Perhaps you aren't ready for that yet. It can be sad. But, it can also be helpful to meet others and know that you aren't alone!
