As for as we know the Widows living with HIV are given widow pension without any

problems in most of the districts.

In fact we know many widows living with HIV/AIDS who are also working with NGOs

/ CBOs / ICTC are getting this pension of Rs.400/- (even though it is a

violation of the rule).

So let us not generalize the problem and it is better to deal it as a case to

case basis at the district level itself rather than projecting it as a big

issue.

Because this will discourage those officials who are already supporting this

cause.
